NOT YET TIME TO DANCE

Today, January 31st 2022, the province of Ontario begins the early stages of reopening from covid-19 restrictions.We can also see that covid-19 case counts appear to be falling in some places, which is encouraging. We can see that some areas are scaling back testing too. This makes it a little trickier to tell where things truly stand. We are hopeful that things will fully open in the spring. 

The purpose of this announcement is to share that the Westie Underground team met on January 23rd to discuss next steps, and unanimously concluded that it is a bit too soon for social dances and classes with rotating partners like we are all used to. Rather than modify our format completely, we have decided to wait just a bit. We are all keen to begin rebuilding the community we love, and dance again. 

We will continue monitoring closely, and share updates with you about our plan to get back together for dancing. Please stay safe, and we will be in touch with more on this soon!
