Retirement Announcement
Westie Underground would like to take a moment to extend our sincerest gratitude and well wishes to founding member Thomas Clyde.
As of August 31, he will be leaving Westie Underground to pursue other passions and interests.
He’s been a part of the Ottawa swing dance community since his early teen years, and it’s been incredible seeing him grow as a dancer, instructor, and human being. His work as a teacher, DJ, and social dance coordinator has been invaluable to Westie Underground since day one, and we’re sad to see him go.
Tom assures us he is not leaving the dance community forever and he intends to return socially at some point, but for now he is taking a step back to realign his priorities.
Thanks for everything, Tom. We wish you the best in whatever you throw yourself at next.
